Roger Lee Bresden, CRSP
Professional Bio: With 37 years of HSE, physical security, and emergency management experience, Mr. Bresden offers his BVI clients a robust safety management toolbox. Specializing in assisting C-Suite members with managing their organizational safety requirements. He provides guidance designed to continue to develop organizational leadership safety competencies, resulting in continual safety culture growth and safety performance improvements.
His career started in 1982 in the natural gas industry, where he obtained several technical certifications in power engineering, natural gas process technologies, and water and wastewater treatment. His early career spanned operations, technical services, and management of his first health, safety, and environmental team, along with the physical security and emergency management portfolio.
After 15 years, Mr. Bresden moved into local government, where he managed the HSE and emergency management portfolio for a large regional district in British Columbia, Canada.
Mr. Bresden then transitioned into private sector consulting, having developed three successful start-up businesses.

A full-service safety consulting company providing program and management system development, auditing, training, and certification in hundreds of companies across several industries: oil and gas, mining, construction, aviation, hospitality, forestry, and manufacturing.
He also co-founded Global Protective Management (GPM) and helped to develop Secure Assess—a revolutionary and fully customizable physical security.
Assessment tool. Secure Assess was sold to security managers worldwide, and GPM enjoyed relationships with many Fortune 50 companies that utilized Secure Assess to protect their physical assets.
He co-founded Global Reach Fire & Safety, facilitating the development of HSE-related skills for the Libyan government, oil and gas, and North Africa.
In 2008, Mr. Bresden moved out of the private sector and back into the corporate world. For a five-year period, he then managed the Western North American Safety portfolio for Atlantic Power out of Boston, Mass.
In 2013, Mr. Bresden was retained by Saudi Aramco and relocated to Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. From 2013-2016, he managed Saudi Aramco’s Power Systems Engineering Department Safety Compliance Team. In 2016, he transitioned into managing Aramco’s downstream business line HSE and operational excellence portfolio. This role included developing the downstream safety strategy and leading a large, talented team of HSE, OE, and enterprise risk management to execute the strategy across all in-kingdom refining and NGL pipelines, distribution, and terminals. Power Systems assets, Aramco’s in-kingdom domestic joint venture operations, and all downstream international wholly-owned affiliate organizations worldwide. The portfolio currently covers approximately 80,000 people. During this time, Mr. Bresden and his team were able to help reduce Aramco Downstream’s Total Recordable Case Rate Process Safety Event Rates by tenfold, where it is currently amongst the best performers of all energy companies worldwide.

Executing on the many toolbox aspects to help clients to enhance organizational performance. Leveraging on several industry partnerships to ensure project execution exceeding expectations every time.
